The name of the sorcerer has been lost in the ruins of Furlikar, but we shall call him Joe. His love for the princess of Furlikar drove his dabbling into the blackest of black magic, for he prized her above all others and would have her despite his lowly status. A dark sorcerer from Aglack made his residence on the outskirts of the first city, humming his enchantments over a semicircle of runes he had carved from the bones of predatory animals. Battles were playful before they turned bloody, and many a skirmish fought with makeshift weapons was resolved without a blow, a bruise or even minor concussions.
